Blue Sandscapes

During this process a fictional landscape is developing. Using layers of paint, ink and wax to build up an atmosphere, slowly becoming transported into a Si-Fi futuristic world, imagining a time far into the future, a new wilderness where planet earth is evolving without us, where the chemical atmosphere is an alchemy with a new kind of beauty.
The fact that this futuristic landscape is on sandpaper is a further mind warp. The matter that is sand, a planetary archive of broken down rock formations, each grain a result of processes that go back to the shadowy beginnings of life sits perfectly to further stretch the fabric of space and time.
